Key Points
Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE), a producer of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), was once considered a niche green energy stock. But over the past two years, its stock has rallied 2,430%. Let’s see why it soared — and why it could deliver more millionaire-making gains over the next decade.
Why is Bloom Energy a potential millionaire-maker stock?
As the AI market expands, data centers are consuming more power than traditional utilities can produce. It can also take years to establish new connections to those power grids, and increased fossil fuel production can generate significant pollution.
Missed AI’s “Act 1”? Act 2 Could Be 15x Bigger. Most investors think they missed the AI boat because they didn’t buy Nvidia in 2005. But according to our analysts, we’re only at the end of “Act 1″—the R&D phase. “Act 2” is the global rollout. Continue »

Bloom’s SOFCs address those issues by converting natural gas (which accounts for about 40% of data center electricity consumption in the U.S.), biogas, propane, and hydrogen into electricity without any combustion. SOFC systems can also be deployed in less than two months and bypass traditional power grids with “behind-the-meter” connections.
That’s why Bloom’s backlog swelled to $20 billion at the end of 2025. That was nearly ten times the revenue it generated for the full year. From 2025 to 2028, analysts expect its revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) to grow at CAGRs of 70% and 120%, respectively, as the AI boom continues.
With an enterprise value of $81 billion, Bloom isn’t a bargain at 45 times next year’s adjusted EBITDA. But over the next decade, it could still generate multi-bagger gains as more hyperscalers use its SOFC systems to satisfy their soaring energy needs.
