This is a weekly feature that runs down the week’s Top 10 announced funding rounds in the U.S. Check out last week’s biggest funding deal roundup here.

This week’s list of the largest U.S. startup funding rounds was pretty much all about AI. That includes the biggest financing — a $1 billion round for Instinct, a developer of AI assistants for everyday tasks — as well as most of the rest of the Top 10. Other large fundraisers include EliseAI, which is deploying AI for the home rental sector, and Armadin, an AI cybersecurity startup.

Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners led the financing for the New York-based company, which is also expanding into healthcare.

    3. Armadin, $255.5M, cybersecurity: Palo Alto, California-based Armadin, an AI-native cybersecurity company focused on autonomous security, raised $255.5 million in Series B funding. Methodology

We tracked the largest announced rounds in the Crunchbase database that were raised by U.S.-based companies for the period of Sept. 26-Oct. 2, 2026. Although most announced rounds are in the database, there may be a small time lag, as some rounds are reported late in the week.
